Hi, my name is Mark.

I started CraftyDrifters early in 2025 after a walking accident left my mobility a bit wonky. I needed to find something meaningful that I could do while working sitting down.

One day, while out and about, I reached for my wallet and realised it was in tatters—its edges fraying, worn thin, and clearly past its best. Instead of heading back down the market to replace it with another forgettable wallet, I decided to try making one myself. I wanted something that would last, and more importantly, something I actually liked.

So here we go.

Why Most Wallets Let You Down

Like many people, I grew tired of wallets that promised durability but never quite lived up to it. No matter the brand, price, or style, they always seemed to wear out far sooner than expected. Corners softened, edges broke down, and structure was lost long before a wallet should ever need replacing.

I realised most wallets weren’t designed for real, everyday use—they were designed to be sold, not to last.
